Returns and Withdrawal Policy

As VATPAN STORE we take customer satisfaction seriously. Returns, exchanges and withdrawal requests relating to your order are handled under the conditions below.

1. Right of Withdrawal and Return Period

For distance sales made as a consumer on www.vatpanstore.com, the right of withdrawal may be exercised within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason.

The withdrawal request must be notified to us in writing or via a durable medium within that 14-day period.

The product to be returned must be delivered:

  • unused,
  • not assembled,
  • undamaged,
  • in a resaleable condition,
  • complete, with its original packaging, accessories and any parts shipped with it.

Examining the product to a reasonable extent solely to check its characteristics and operation does not remove the consumer’s statutory rights.

2. Return Shipping Costs

For consumer returns made under the statutory right of withdrawal, shipping and return costs are applied in accordance with the applicable Distance Contracts Regulation.

If the contracted carrier designated by VATPAN STORE for the return is used, no additional return shipping fee is charged to the consumer in a manner contrary to the legislation.

For discretionary returns or exchanges accepted exceptionally by VATPAN STORE outside the statutory right of withdrawal, the outbound and return shipping/logistics costs are borne by the customer. These costs may be deducted from the product refund.

3. Custom-Made and Customised Products

There is no right of withdrawal or discretionary return for products manufactured specifically at the customer’s request, or customised by changing a standard product.

The following are examples of products in this category:

  • cabinets and racks manufactured to special dimensions,
  • products manufactured in non-standard colours / RAL codes,
  • products with customer-specific holes, cut-outs, knockouts or cable entries,
  • special door, lock, hinge or construction applications,
  • products with customer-specific fan, air-conditioning, PDU or accessory placement,
  • products with applied logos, labels, printing or engraving,
  • standard products physically modified at the customer’s request,
  • project-based products or products manufactured to the customer’s technical specification,
  • other products specially procured or manufactured at the customer’s request.

Products manufactured in accordance with technical drawings, dimensions, colours, product configuration or similar features approved by the customer before the order is placed are treated as custom-made.

For custom-made products, inspection and the necessary correction, replacement or other legal remedies are carried out only where the product does not match the approved technical specification, has a manufacturing defect, or is delivered defective or damaged.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If the product:

  • is delivered damaged during shipping,
  • has a manufacturing defect,
  • is a different product from the one ordered,
  • does not match the approved technical specification,

we ask customers to contact VATPAN STORE as soon as possible after delivery.

For shipping damage, having a damage report drawn up with the carrier at the time of delivery will help resolve the matter more quickly.

For verified manufacturing or shipping errors and non-conformities, the necessary replacement, repair or refund is carried out by VATPAN STORE.

5. Return Approval

A return request must be opened by contacting VATPAN STORE before any return shipment is made.

Products sent without approval or without following the stated return procedure are checked against the return conditions before any acceptance.

After the returned product reaches us, its physical condition, accessories, packaging and any customisation are inspected.

If the return is accepted, the refund is made, as far as possible, by the original payment method, within the time and by the methods set out in the applicable legislation.

6. Commercial / Business Orders

The consumer withdrawal rules may not apply to orders placed for commercial or professional purposes, where the invoice is issued to a company or commercial enterprise and the transaction is not a consumer transaction.

Discretionary return or exchange of standard products in this category is subject to prior approval by VATPAN STORE.

For commercial discretionary returns accepted by VATPAN STORE, outbound and return shipping, logistics, packing and similar costs are borne by the ordering party and may be deducted from the refund.

For custom-made or customer-specified commercial orders, returns are not accepted unless there is a manufacturing defect or a non-conformity with the order.
